In August 2012, Justice for Magdalenes made its principal submission, "State Involvement with the Magdalene Laundries" to the Inter-Departmental Committee to establish the facts of State involvement with the Magdalen Laundries (IDC). This submission has been digitised and made available to the public at www.wit.ie/jfmr.

​The data contained in the JFMR Archive represents a comprehensive collection of papers and images with great significance to Irish heritage. Analyses of the Laundries are constrained by the lack of access to the records of the Religious Orders, resulting in an absence of intervention, as well as a failure to remember officially.
